The Okanagan, Shuswap, Kootenay, and surrounding interior lakes. Residential waterfronts, strata moorage, resort and hospitality projects, and commercial installations across the region.
Cascade is based in Kelowna, in the heart of the Okanagan. From here we supply and install EZ Dock systems across the interior — Kelowna, Vernon, Penticton, Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Revelstoke, Nelson, and the smaller communities that line the interior lakes. It's a region with some of the highest concentrations of lakefront property in Canada, and we've been working across it for over twenty years.
Okanagan Lake alone can swing more than a metre between spring freshet and late summer. Other interior lakes see similar or greater variation. Floating systems rise and fall with the water without the damage a fixed dock takes.
Most interior lakes form ice each winter, and owners handle it differently — some leave docks in the water, some pull them out every fall. EZ Dock's rotomolded polyethylene is built for cold conditions, and the manufacturer makes a hitch-and-wheel accessory that lets most residential systems roll in and out of the water without heavy equipment. We'll walk through what makes sense for your specific site.
Interior lakes are often deeper close to shore than coastal sites. Anchoring strategies differ from tidal projects — usually a mix of stiff-arm and deadweight systems for larger installations, or pipe augers in shallower bays.
